Who is Ronald Blankenstein.

Ronald Blankenstein came to Spain in 1988. In Holland he gave up his career, that, if we describe it shortly is, ‘from printer to satellite installer’. Although the interest in electronics had been present since he was young, he started his career in the Graphic Industry. As a student, he learned to love magazines & publications. With his diploma in printing, he changed disciplines several times in the graphic industry during the time that

offset printing took over. In 1967 he started an electronic typesetting company ‘Blankenstein Graphic Business’ with clients from big magazine publishers. The computer still had to be invented, but Ronald was a pioneer in putting together pages electronically with punch and magnetic tape.In 1970 his publishing business expanded with a printing company and began creating magazines. Initially solemnly for other companies, but later also in his own label. In 1981 the first “Video uit & Thuis” was published and Ronald Blankenstein became Editor in chief. From that moment on, several different magazines were produced, which were more and more related to electronics. At the end of the 80’s the satellite became a hot-item.In 1988, the company was taken over by a concern that produced popular magazines, and Ronald moved to Spain. It took him only two years to begin exploring the satellite industry. In 1989 the Dutch station RTL4 started on the Astra satellite. To be able to receive this station a dish from 2 meters in diameter was needed in the south of Spain, but that was no dilemma for the Dutch residents. Nowadays, with over 8500 satisfied customers, it is hard to imagine a digital world without Blankenstein Satellite Systems. Every single day, a team of 5 cars with qualified technicians and a adequate staff behind the scenes, make sure that owners of a digital installation are always up-to-date! Besides satellite systems for private owners, Blankenstein Satellite Systems is also active as installer for projects such as hotels and communities. The company has developed into a specialized audio an video store, where the latest state-of-the-art audio and video in Home Entertainment are ready for a demonstration. You are welcome anytime!
